Today Comet Ison will reach the perihelion, the closest point to the Sun (the date will be today November 28th at 18:24:57 UTC). If it can pass unscathed his meeting with our Sun should return visible in our skies since December 3rd.
If the Comet will overcome the perihelion passage, less than two million kilometers from the Sun, and if will develop a tail light can be called a good title Christmas comet.
It will be well observable in the evening between Christmas and New Year. If the comet does not disintegrate, even the Astronomical Observatory of Trieste, INAF Observatories as others, will organize an evening of astrophysical observation with interventions targeting.
