The anticyclone extending over Italy shall keep atmospheric stability with humid air in the lower layers and strong hot and dry currents at altitude. Between Tuesday and Wednesday a front shall touch the Alps, pressed between a trough descending over France and the anticyclone slowing moving back towards south. The evolution is uncertain.

The tug Spica, moored at the port of Trieste, at the disposal of the Ministry of Environment (Consorizio Castalia S.C.P.A.) sailed following the provisions of the italian Guard Coast and Castalia for an pollution control operation near Porto San Giorgio.
